Beginners 60 Minutes Ages 7+
Focus on posture, turn out, and foot placement. Reels and jigs are learned and Ceili dancing is introduced. Beginners are encouraged to participate in performances and competitions.

Beginner Adult  60 Minutes Ages
Open to any adults interested in having fun while getting a little workout! Warm ups and stretching, Ceili dancing along with solo soft and hard shoe dancing.

Competitive Adult  60 Minutes
Open to advanced adult dancers who have an understanding of both soft and hard shoe dances who are ready for more intricate steps.

Class Levels

All New Students will be placed according to their ability. The competitive levels in Irish Dance are Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Novice, Prizewinner, Preliminary Champion, and Open Champion.

The best way to move up in dance is by competing! Non-competitive students can still move up the class level by demonstrating that they can perform the steps accurately, but most OSID dancers do compete.
