2-Hand Reel / Monday June 12th & 19th 5:00 - 6:00 / Beginner +

The Two Hand Reel is a dance choreographed for a couple. Traditionally danced at ceilis, it is now danced as a competition or performance piece. What makes it unique is that the two dancers work as a team to move in unison and must also incorporate using their hands. In the competition circle, this dance is commonly performed by good friends, or siblings, with the occasional parent - child or family category being offered. This dance is 3 steps long.

4-Hand Reel / Monday June 12th & 19th 6:00 - 7:00 / Advanced Beginner +

The 4-Hand Reel is often one of the first competition ceili dances a dancer will learn. It is more complex than the 2-Hand in that all four dancers must work to stay in perfect unison. It is also a bit longer, equaling to about 5 steps, depending on which figure us used. 4-Hands can compete at local competitions and Regional Championships.

8-Hand Reel / Monday June 12th & 19th 7:00 - 8:00 / Novice +

It is similarly structured as the 4-Hand with the lead round, body, and figure. 8-Hands can compete at local competitions, Regional Championships, and Nationals & Worlds if qualified at Regionals.
