The Petri Foundation

The Petri School of Irish Dancing Foundation (501c3 EIN 11-3340215) was established to support the mission of the Doherty Petri School of Irish Dance by making Irish dance more accessible to families in our community. Built from the school’s long-standing focus on tradition, teamwork, and youth development, the Foundation helps remove financial barriers so dancers can participate fully—regardless of circumstance.

Over time, the Petri Foundation has grown its support through scholarships and financial assistance, travel stipends for major competitions and events, equipment needs, and funding for workshops and training opportunities that help dancers continue to progress. The Foundation is sustained through community partnerships and fundraising efforts that celebrate Irish culture and invest directly back into dancers and their opportunities.
